deciding what kinda lens to get for myself as it's time for an upgrade but i seriously cant decide what kinda focal length that i would really wanna get first and the price range and needs of it at certain time.

i was thinking about canon EF 28mm f1.8 which costs like $400+ and still bidding

EF 24mm f2.8 which costs like $350 but the seller nv reply me.

i was also considering a 35mm f2 which costs $430 brand new but a lil too much zoom for events shot bla bla =\ but its an f2

been doing nothing much the past week since my foot was injured and couldn't go outfield so i just stayed in bunk and watch tv, eat and slp. thats about it for 4days and we booked out on sat morning while those that went outfield booked out that friday night. and they get to book in tml afternoon too =(

oh well. we have an advance pay next week and i'm still thinking and almost confirm getting the TT belt system. can stuff my pocket items into the pouch even if i'm not carrying my camera around with me.

below are some pictures of my foot. though it doesn't look as serious as it is. it IS very very painful when i walk or stand still. even when i'm standing, i'm like tip toe-ing so that i won't put pressure on the wounds.

tip toe sucks. cramps up my feet then i cant even balance. cant even fall properly without touching the wound. so practically, i'm rolling around my house in my computer chair unless i bath, where i have this chair for me to sit just in case i can't stay too long.

some of the medication given to me by my family doct. yup. the red and white one costs quite alot. $4 each, two to be taken daily after dinner. but my doct say its very strong antibiotics to fight and kill the bacteria inside. hope it cures soon. =(



a mini shopping spree for my outfield but might not be able to make it now. top left to right...

cream cheese. pork ramen. chocolate cookies. wafers.

peanut butter biscuits. bin bin x 2. hot chocolate!

superbly funny how angel would sms me and thought it was my 21st bday! hahahaha sorry to the one with the unknown number. i was using my non- camera phone which doesnt have all my contacts :)


not to mention the special one =) you know who you are and thanks so much for everything.

my platoon mates gave me a 'surprise' birthday cake though i sorta told them i wanted a cake just before they went for nights out. really didn't expect the cake to be there! haha. was just a normal fruit cake but mannn it was special! a birthday song. smashed my face into part of the cake. pouring water on me making me shiver... some blanket hits bla bla. cutting the cake up and sharing with them was so <3.


the best thing was the courtesy lion and the bday cake i received and opened just before i went to bed on tuesday night hahaha.


had guard duty on friday and mann it was real easy to do! hahaha. cleared one!

saturday night was zouk night with hashbrown and anthony and his friend. just a jug of vodka with hashbrown and HALF a long island tea and we were knocked out on the busstop soon... i think was about 1hr+ to 2hrs!!! hahaha i woke up and checked the time and it was 0338hrs! hahahaha.

took MC on sunday and had some fondue and waffles <3



the timtam box is actually the box which dad janiel used to put the two vaspa shirts in! hahaha yeah creative yea. and that was the 'happy birthday' thing that ppls use to put into cakes. i kept it and its on my desktop area now. the cow is a souvenir bought by my aunties as well. hahaha make some lame noise when i press its stomach.

i think that's all man! gotta head back to camp soon after watching 3 or 4 episodes of heros just now. i gotta fund for my lens and maybe get a bag as well. think tank speed demon or a glass taxi might suit my needs. expensive it is gonna be!

wooo some more shirts! two vespa shirts from dad janiel which he bought from thailand. a lil big but still cool. courtesy lion one bought by hashbrown <3 its darn cute la hahahaha.





my flight case with my akg 701 inside. =\ i might sell it to fund for my lens or something soon =\ maybe just save up as its really under uterlised man hais.

i'm going beach road now to sew my rank and just maybe buy some food items on the way back to camp or something. gees i think i really getting SOL so yeah can stay in camp and save more money now =\
