are you tied down by singapore's education system?
think bout this. you and i as singaporeans, do we have much of a choice of where to study? parents have been planning our education routes since our birth. from kindergarden to primary school and sometimes even secondary school. and when you really have the heads to think about what school you wanna go do, either the jc or poly or for my case, the only choice left... the ite... do we have any alternatives?
can we break the circle that the governement planned for us? hope you realised that parents will be charged now if they did not send their kids for education. if you think that going to school is a must, why is it a must? to get a good cert? to find a stable job in future? or would u wanan go with your DREAMS? how many of us have dreams but are always tied down by the fact that we gotta have a good education first.
unless your parents are so darn rich that you don't have to worry about money your whole life. what ya gonna do? let's break it down... school for 13-16years then come out to find a job. is that worth it or nessasary? i've just read about a friend's life. though she's from beijing, she's already a singaporean now and she quit RGS to follow her dreams in fashion and the arts. she's a part time model and a good photographer somehow. her themes for shoots are really outstanding though i must say... it's mostly gothic =p oh btw she's in the national team for air rifle. but her mum is national coach so its' pretty obvious to me now but she's still great.

http://www.zemotion.net/z/and i don't think this is the first time that i've mentioned about her. oh anyway back from ubin around 8pm yesterday. a group of like 30 photographers? lemme upload the pic. haha nah there you go.

and walking around and suddenly a heavy downpour. hide in this shelter and suddenly went out walk walk in the rain with a brolly of cus. but after that, my pants still got very wet and went to pick up two fellow CS-ers whos caught in this very small shelter. haha. lent my brolly to drumma and his female model friend and my raincoat to mel. and btw my bag was darn heavy due to alot of rubbish i put inside -.-!
and once the rain stopped, most of the group left and left about 10 of us to go trekking and planned to walk till top to shoot sunset but the road up was blocked then we went another place which is more like a swarm to shoot some stuffs lor. nothing much there for me to shoot and the distance we had to walk in is darn hell far! hahaha but trekking is all fun. we even had to walk pass some muslim graves or something. and walking back in the dark aint fun. ashley still call me not to on my torchlight for some reasons.
but it was all fun in the end! and pretty okay with some of my pics. haha.
